Two engineers interview every candidate
Before a profile reaches you, a senior engineer has tested hands-on depth and a lead or architect has assessed design judgement. Failure at either gate stops the process — the profile is not submitted.
AI talent specialists for the United States and India. Every candidate we submit has already cleared two engineer-led technical interviews.
Limited exposure to multi-region failover. Has not led a team formally.

Our standards
These are not aspirations. They are the terms on which we accept a mandate, and they are the basis on which clients hold us to account.
Before a profile reaches you, a senior engineer has tested hands-on depth and a lead or architect has assessed design judgement. Failure at either gate stops the process — the profile is not submitted.
A candidate submitted as Senior has been confirmed as Senior by a lead or architect. In AI hiring, where terminology moves faster than verification, this is the hardest thing to establish from a CV.
A signed RTR is obtained from every candidate before their profile goes anywhere. No duplicate submissions, and a single clean point of representation for every profile.
The SourceStack screen
Each stage is sequential, and failure at any one stops the process. Only a candidate who clears every gate is submitted.
Fit, availability, rate, authorisation
Hands-on depth, tested by an engineer
Architecture and true seniority
Signed before any submission
Only after every gate is passed
Why this matters most in AI. Demand far outstrips verified supply, the terminology moves fast, and it is easy to sound credible without depth. A generalist recruiter cannot distinguish someone who fine-tuned and deployed a model from someone who called an API. A senior ML engineer can, in minutes.
Documentation
Assessment quality is hard to verify from a claim. Every candidate we present arrives with the following record, so your team reviews evidence rather than our conclusions. The development areas row is included as a matter of course.
| Field | What it contains |
|---|---|
| Role fit | Where they meet the specification and where they do not — a judgement, not a score. |
| Systems worked on | Architecture, scale and stack actually worked with: request volumes, data sizes, team structure. |
| Depth probe | The technical question posed and how it was answered, so you can judge it independently. |
| Level read | Our assessment against your levelling framework, with the reasoning behind it. |
| Development areas | What the candidate has not yet demonstrated, stated plainly. |
| Logistics | Compensation, notice period, location and work authorisation — confirmed at assessment. |
Practice areas
We do not operate a general recruitment desk. Our consultants work exclusively within software engineering and artificial intelligence.
The core of the practice. ML engineering, data science, GenAI, LLM and Agentic AI work, plus the MLOps and platform roles around them — where resume inflation is highest and a generalist recruiter genuinely cannot tell depth from vocabulary.
The engineering around the models — backend and distributed systems, data and platform infrastructure, and the product engineering built on top.
How we work with you
Sourcing, screening and submitting candidates against your open requisitions, with AI and machine learning roles as the core specialisation.
Our own consultants work at your locations, delivering on engagements as part of your team.
Engaged as an approved vendor on your own vendor list, submitting against your requisitions with direct contact throughout.
Engaged as an approved tier-2 supplier to staffing firms and primes who hold the MSP or VMS relationship. Our submissions are built to protect your ratio with the end client.
Prime vendor network
Alongside our direct engagements, we work as an approved tier-2 supplier to staffing firms holding the MSP or VMS relationship with the end client. Our submissions are built to protect your ratio.
A role specification is sufficient to begin. Where we believe a mandate is not achievable as defined, we will set that out at the first conversation.
